DRAMATIC READING

VS.

ROLEPLAY

There are two different type or ways to story tell. The first is simply "Dramatic Reading." This means that you read the manuscript with emphasis, change of tone, and even voice, based upon the story and setting. This is most simple way to story-tell.

Roleplay storytelling is more advance. Roleplay Novels have no manuscript nor dialogue, but only the book description, and main characters. Your job will be to quickly digest the description, create an interactive scenario for you and the buyer, and invite them to share in the dialogue.

MASTER BOOK LIST

Our Google Document is where you will find most of our Live-Read stories. Because our SMS Authors also use this form for Messenger Novels, there is information that you definitely need to get started.

The Master Book List is primarily for dramatic reading only. Document is updated regularly, if you ever can't find a manuscript, contact SMS moderator.

You can view manuscript here.

ROLEPLAY NOVELS

Remember, roleplay novels are interactive. You really have to use your skills to be able to create a setting, scene, scenario in which you can interact with the reader.

Tips:

Read description with reader

Ask what role would they like to play

Take the lead in dialogue.

*Listen to audio for more details.

All new authors will be required to successfully complete both a live-reading call and a roleplay novel (chapter).
