Weekend Schedule: Witness & Wellness (Updated)

Friday: The Groundwork

• 3:00 PM – Arrival & Tech Sync: Meet at the host church. Freelancers link their gear to the SMS Film Platform API for real-time cloud backup.

• 5PM - GROUP DINNER AND WELCOME

• 6:00 PM – Group Recording (The Vigil): [Group Session] All creators meet at the Renee Good Memorial. Focus: Wide-angle atmosphere, group prayers, and candlelit B-roll.

• 7:30 PM – Freelance Window: Independent time to capture "Night in the Whittier Neighborhood." Focus on the contrast between the cold streets and the warm sanctuary of the church.

• 9:00 PM – Nightcap & Strategy: Review the day’s "Sync-Log" at a local cafe.

• Free Time

Saturday: The Dispatch & Documentation

• 8 AM BREAKFAST

• 9:00 AM – Freelance Morning Block: Individual recording time. Suggested: Local bakery interviews or "Storm Prep" visuals at hardware stores.

• 11:00 AM – Group Recording (The Masterclass): [Group Session] Live-streamed session in the church hall. Use multiple angles to document the AI-Human handoff training.

• 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM – The "In-Person" Dispatch (Freelance Teams): * Creators split into pairs (1 Filmmaker + 1 Dispatch Proxy).

  • The Mission: Execute real-world tasks (delivering food, clearing vents, check-ins).

  • Recording Style: "Guerilla-style" handheld. Capture the raw interaction when the "Human on Standby" arrives at a door.

• 5:00 PM – Group Recording (The Debrief): [Group Session] Round-table discussion on the porch or in the sanctuary. Record the "First Impressions" of the dispatch proxies.

Sunday: The Legacy

• 8AM Breakfast

• 10:00 AM – Group Church Service: [Group Session] Capture the community worship. Focus on the intersection of faith and the call for justice.

• 12:00 PM – Freelance Lunch "Final Thoughts": Each filmmaker records a 2-minute "Director's Statement" on-site at a location of their choice (Pretti shooting site, VA hospital, or the church).

• 2:00 PM – The "Great Upload": Everyone returns to hotel "Digital Hub" for final meta-tagging and credits.

This weekend trip is designed for novice and  experienced photography and videography in the form of social justice. There will be an SMS Novel representative and local tour guide during our journey to ensure proper instruction, safety, and learning.
