Here’s how it works:

- Come on set in Herndon, VA (or go solo)
- Work with a co-director to shoot your film in 2 hours
Once edited, your short movie is published on our platform—you’ll earn $5 per stream. Whether you’re a budding actor, TikTok creator, storyteller, or someone just looking to try something exciting and new—this is your moment.

By booking and participating in the Night Movie experience with SMS Novel Films, you agree to the following terms:
1. Service Overview
Night Movie is a two-hour creative film production experience where clients can pitch a story, work with a writer and a co-director, and shoot a short film in Herndon, VA. The final edited film will be published on our streaming platform, and clients will receive $5 per confirmed stream.
2. What’s Included
- One (1) professional actor
- One (1) Zoom session with a writer to develop your script
- Access to a co-director during the filming session
- Two-hour filming session at our Herndon, VA location
- Basic editing and release on the SMS Novel Films platform
- $5 payout to client per paid stream of the completed film
3. Additional Actors
- Each additional actor requested is $99 per actor
- Must be requested at least 24 hours in advance of your filming session
- Payment for additional actors is non-refundable once confirmed
4. Client Responsibilities
- Arrive on time for your scheduled filming session
- Come prepared with a clear story idea or concept
- Act respectfully toward all staff and actors
- Provide any personal props or costumes desired for the shoot
5. Payment & Refund Policy
- Base cost for participation is $99
- All payments are due in full at the time of booking
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for a 50% refund
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled session are non-refundable
6. Film Rights & Distribution
- SMS Novel Films retains all distribution and promotional rights for completed films
- Clients may request a downloadable copy of their film for personal use
- Any commercial use outside of SMS Novel Films’ platform requires written permission
- Payouts for streams ($5 per confirmed stream) are issued quarterly via PayPal or Zelle
7. Content Guidelines
- All content must be appropriate for general audiences (PG-13 or below)
- We reserve the right to decline or stop production on any content we deem offensive, harmful, or unsafe
8. Limitation of Liability
SMS Novel Films is not responsible for lost time due to client delays, uncooperative participants, or creative disagreements. While we aim for a fun and successful shoot, final creative results may vary.
