Become an independent contractor with SMS Novel and start making money for Drone Air Drop Deliveries! Work flexible hours, choose the jobs you want, and get paid the next day for completed deliveries. Rent or bring your own drone making it both a fun and rewarding gig!

Drone pilot eligibility and approval are determined solely at the discretion of SMS Novel and are not guaranteed. Pilots are able to fly their own insured drone for drone delivery. 5 hours of training are required, 1 hour of in person training, and 4 hours of flight training and drop are required.

Now use your own DJI Drone. Proof of insuracne is required.

PAY SCALE:

Airdrop Payment Scale:

• Payment per Airdrop: $20 to $40, depending on the distance and complexity of the drop.
  • Standard Drop: $20 per delivery (short distance, easy-to-reach locations).
  • Premium Drop: $30 per delivery (moderate distance or slightly challenging locations).
  • Special Drop: $40 per delivery (longer distances or complex drop locations).

Payment Schedule:

• Next-Day Payment: Pilots will be paid the following day at 6 PM for all drops completed before 6 PM the previous day.
• Payments are processed daily, ensuring that pilots receive consistent and timely compensation.

Job Acceptance:

• Pilot Flexibility: Pilots can accept or reject any airdrop assignments. There is no penalty for rejecting a delivery, allowing pilots to choose based on their preferences or availability.

DRONE RENTAL OPTION

Drone rental is optional; pilots may use their own drones as long as they are DJI models compatible with SMS Novel's delivery software. If you choose to rent a drone, here are the details:

Optional Drone Rental Terms & Conditions:

1. Drone Rental Details:
   - Monthly Rental Fee: $75
   - Refundable Security Deposit: $100 (collected at booking, refundable upon inspection).

2. Rental Duration: The rental period lasts for 28 days and will automatically renew unless canceled.

3. Operator Responsibilities:
   - Maintain and operate the drone as instructed during training.
   - Use the remote release hook for package delivery as per guidelines.
   - Report any damage or malfunction immediately to SMS Novel.
   - Follow FAA regulations and local laws.
   - Obtain Part 107 certification within 180 days of the first delivery.

4. Damage & Loss Policy:
   - Operators are responsible for any damage beyond standard wear and tear. Repairs will be deducted from the security deposit.

   - If the drone is lost or irreparably damaged, the operator will be charged the full replacement cost of $199 plus the $100 deposit, for a total of $299.

5. Refundable Deposit:
   - The $100 deposit will be refunded upon the return of the drone in good condition after inspection.

6. Termination Policy:
   - You may cancel your rental/pilot agreement at any time by returning the drone. Any outstanding rental fees will be charged, and the deposit will be refunded post-inspection.
