Basic Terms of Agreement

SMS NOVEL FILMS – Autobiography Documentary Service

By purchasing or participating in the SMS Novel Films Autobiography Documentary Service, you agree to the following terms:

1. Service Description

SMS Novel Films provides an in-person, two-hour filming session conducted in any U.S. city or state.
The service includes:

  • A 30-minute custom documentary

  • DSLR video recording

  • Audiobook creation

  • AI-generated music album

  • Publishing to major streaming platforms

  • Website sales options

2. Guaranteed First-Month Royalty Payout

All clients receive a guaranteed $100 royalty payout in the first month, regardless of streaming or sales totals.

3. Streaming Royalties (Apple Music / iTunes)

Apple Music’s payout rate varies, but the current industry average is:

  • $0.007 to $0.01 per stream (approx.)

Final royalty amounts depend on:

  • Listener location

  • Subscription tier

  • Platform revenue

  • Distribution fees

SMS Novel Films will process and forward earnings exactly as received from distributors.

4. Audiobook Sales

Your audiobook will be sold directly through SMSNovel.com.

You will receive:

  • $2.00 per audiobook + documentary combo sold

5. Payout Schedule

  • Website sales (SMSNovel.com): Paid same day, delivered to client’s chosen payment method.

  • Streaming platform royalties: Paid monthly, based on distributor reporting cycles. Some platforms report 30–90 days behind.

  • Guaranteed $100 month-one royalty is paid within the first 30 days.

6. Ownership & Rights

  • You retain full rights to your life story and your likeness.

  • SMS Novel Films retains production and publishing rights to the documentary, audiobook, and music album solely for the purpose of distribution and royalty payments.

  • You may publicly share your documentary, audiobook, and music album without permission.

7. Travel & Scheduling

Filming includes travel to any U.S. city or state.
Client is responsible for:

  • Confirming meeting location

  • Arriving on time

  • Providing truthful biographical information

If rescheduling is needed, a 24-hour notice is required.

8. Refund Policy

Once the in-person filming session occurs, the service is considered delivered, and no refunds will be issued. In person documentary creation and editing takes 7 days.

9. Client Conduct

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Refrain from illegal or harmful content

  • Allow SMS Novel Films to edit and produce their documentary at professional discretion

10. Acceptance of Terms

By booking, paying for, or participating in this service, you acknowledge and accept all terms in this agreement.
