What’s it like to be you? Our new movie platform lets the world see life through your eyes. We are seeking couples, individuals, and creators to star in their own high-definition "POV" films using the latest Meta-style smart glasses and a custom script written just for you.
Cost is only $75 plus $25 refundable deposit for Smart Glass rental.
How It Works: 4 Steps to Stardom
The Interview & Script: After a brief online interview, our writers craft a unique script based on your life or idea. You approve the story before we begin.
The Gear: We ship the specialized filming glasses directly to you.
The Shoot: Spend one day recording and narrating your script while filming with friends or your partner in your city.
The Release: Send the glasses back to us. We edit the movie and release the one hour movie for sale within 48 hours.
Earnings & Premieres
Daily Royalties: We pay you $5 per stream/sale, paid out the same day the sale occurs.
Local Premiere: We will host a local, in-person movie viewing for your friends, family, and community, including ticket sales to celebrate your debut!
No Limits: There is no limit to the number of movies you can create and get paid for.
Content Guidelines & Terms
We are currently seeking stories in the following categories:
Couples & Romance: Marriage stories, dates, and relationship milestones.
Action & Careers: A day in the life of a "cool" or unique job.
Inspirational: Uplifting stories and personal triumphs.
Documentaries: Must feature multiple people/interviews.
Note: At this time, we are not accepting stories regarding homelessness, life after prison, or drug recovery.
Equipment Rental Terms
Security Deposit: A refundable $25 deposit is required and will be returned upon receipt of glasses.
Return Policy: Equipment must be postmarked for return within 24 hours of your filming day.
Damage/Loss: The renter is responsible for the replacement cost of any lost or significantly damaged hardware.
CONTACTLESS PAY:
No payment required upon payment. We will send you a text message confirmation to your phone and will send payment link after confirmed.

Film Distribution Terms
POV Film Production & Smart Glasses Rental Terms
These terms govern the rental of Meta-style smart glasses, the production of your POV film, and the subsequent publishing and royalty structure.
1. Equipment Rental & Logistics

The Gear: SMS Novel provides the smart glasses for a one-day filming period.

Shipping & Return: Glasses are shipped to you following script approval. You agree to postmark the return shipment within 24 hours of your filming day.

Liability: The renter is responsible for the equipment while in their possession. A security deposit or card authorization is required to cover loss or significant damage.
2. Scripting & Editing

Custom Script: SMS Novel will provide a professional script based on your initial interview. Filming may only begin once you have provided written approval of the script.

The Final Product: We will edit your recorded footage into a one-hour feature film.

Turnaround: The edited movie will be released for sale within 48 hours of our receipt of the glasses.
3. Publishing & Live Releases

Platform Hosting: All films are hosted and sold through the SMS Novel movie platform.

Live Premiere: We offer a hosted in-person viewing event for your community. This event is contingent upon meeting a minimum of 20 ticket pre-orders.

Revenue Share: You will receive $5.00 for every sale or stream of your film.

Same-Day Payout: Your earnings are calculated and paid out the same day a sale or stream is recorded.
4. Intellectual Property & Ownership

Shared Rights (Year 1): During the first year of release, SMS Novel and the Client share all rights to the film for the purposes of distribution, promotion, and sales.

Ownership Transfer: Following the conclusion of the second year, SMS Novel will transfer 100% of the film's rights and ownership exclusively to the Client.
