Terms of Service: Local Tour Guide & Videographer
By booking a session through SMS Novel, you agree to the following terms and conditions for our in-person guiding and videography services.
1. Service Delivery & Minimums

Two-Hour Minimum: To ensure high-quality footage and a comprehensive tour, a 2-hour minimum booking is required for all sessions.

On-Demand Availability: We strive to meet clients within 2–5 hours of booking in major cities, subject to guide availability.
2. Videography & Content Rights

Usage Rights: You retain full ownership of the raw footage captured during your session for personal or commercial use.

Delivery: Video files are typically delivered digitally within 24–48 hours following the conclusion of the tour.

Equipment: Our guides use high-quality mobile or professional camera equipment. We are not responsible for footage quality issues caused by extreme weather or poor lighting in client-selected locations.
3. Location & Safety

Meeting Point: Standard meetings begin at a Starbucks or a mutually agreed-upon public landmark.

Safety: Clients and guides must remain in public or safe-access areas. We reserve the right to decline filming in locations that are illegal, dangerous, or violate private property rules.

Transportation: The guide is not responsible for providing transportation. Any travel costs (rideshares, public transit, or entry fees) for the guide during the tour are the responsibility of the client.
4. Conduct & Cancellations

Professionalism: We maintain a respectful, professional environment. Any harassment or illegal activity will result in the immediate termination of the tour without a refund.

Refund Policy: Because our guides are dispatched immediately upon booking, sessions are non-refundable once the guide is en route or the meeting has started.
