By using our service, submitting a story, or paying for production, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

  • Must be 18+ or a legal guardian submitting for a minor.

  • All information provided must be truthful.

2. True & Verifiable Stories Only

  • Stories must be based on events you witnessed or experienced.

  • Verification (documents, photos, messages) may be required.

  • We may decline unverifiable stories.

3. Client Responsibility

  • You are responsible for all claims made.

  • We document your story but do not guarantee legal accuracy.

  • You agree to indemnify SMS Novel Films against legal claims.

4. Content Ownership

  • You retain ownership of your story.

  • SMS Novel Films owns the final documentary, including edits, visuals, and AI reenactments.

5. Royalties

  • $5 per paid download/sale via SMSNovel.com, paid daily/weekly.

  • Royalties apply only to our platform and distribution channels.

6. Removal & Settlements

  • We can negotiate removal settlements at your request.

  • You decide whether to accept; you receive 100% of any payment.

7. Confidentiality

  • All submitted materials are private unless you approve release.

8. Refunds

  • Fees are non-refundable once production starts.

  • Full refund if story is declined before production.

9. Marketing & Distribution

  • You allow promotion of a free sample and paid release for 4 weeks, unless private release is requested.

10. Legal Disclaimer

  • We do not provide legal advice or act as legal representation.

11. Prohibited Content

  • No false claims, unverifiable criminal accusations, hate speech, threats, or defamatory content.

  • Projects may be declined at our discretion.
