Drone Boi — Terms of Agreement

By booking a time slot, providing a filming location, or appearing on camera as part of Drone Boi ("Participant," "you"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Location

• Participant must be 18+, or have parent/guardian consent.
• Filming location must fall within the confirmed 5-mile service radius of a participating city, verified at booking.
• Participant is responsible for confirming they have the legal right to permit drone filming at the chosen location (HOA rules, lease terms, local ordinances, etc.).
• We reserve the right to decline or reschedule bookings in restricted or unauthorized airspace.

2. FAA Compliance & Flight Operations

• All flights are conducted by remote pilots holding a valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, per 14 C.F.R. Part 107.
• Flights stay within visual line of sight (VLOS) and at or below 400 feet AGL, with airspace authorization (e.g., LAANC) where required.
• We will not fly over non-participants, moving vehicles, or restricted/prohibited airspace.
• Flights won't occur below FAA visibility/weather minimums or in conditions the remote pilot deems unsafe.
• We may cancel, delay, or reschedule any booking for weather, airspace, or safety reasons. The pilot's on-site safety call is final.

3. Filming Consent & Media Release

• You grant Drone Boi a worldwide, royalty-free license to use your image, voice, and performance in the finished film, trailers, and promotional materials.
• You'll separately receive your own scene as a personal-use short film.
• No compensation beyond what's listed in the Service Description is owed for use of your footage, absent a separate written agreement.

4. Payment & Cancellation

• A $50 booking fee is due at reservation.
• Fees are non-refundable once confirmed, except when we cancel/reschedule per Section 2, in which case you get a full refund or a new slot at no cost.
• Reschedule with no penalty up to 24 hours before your slot; later cancellations may forfeit the fee.

5. Ownership of Footage

• All raw and edited footage is owned by Drone Boi.
• You may use your personal short film for non-commercial purposes only, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

6. Privacy

• We limit filming to what's needed for your scene and avoid unnecessary capture of neighboring property or uninvolved individuals.
• Info collected at booking (name, phone, address) is used only for scheduling/production and is never sold.

7. Assumption of Risk & Liability

• Participant assumes the inherent risks of outdoor filming involving unmanned aircraft.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant releases Drone Boi, its pilots, and affiliates from claims arising from participation, except for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
• Drone Boi's total liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where the filming location is situated. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if needed, binding arbitration or the courts of that state.
